Welcome to OcuPlan and thank you for registering with us. Your account has been set up. You need now to complete your registration. Let me guide you through how to complete your registration. The video can be watched again at any time in the future. Below this screen, there is a button which says continue to my account. Once the video has finished, you can press this button.

  • Your ‘practice page’ is where you enter details for payments, you find your statements and scan the membership cards of your patients
  • At the top of the page, there are four icons: statements, scans, profile and team
  • When you press ‘set up payment’, this takes you through the information required, so that we can pay you.
  • You are paid through a third party, who hold your details, we do not store your financial details
  • Enter your details and then
  • Press next
  • Complete the details-your sort code and account number is the account  we will pay
  • Then click done
  • You will be redirected back to your practice page.
  • Pressing the statement icon on this page shows your earnings. These earnings are grouped monthly
  • There is a bar chart which shows monthly earnings
  • There are statements for individual months
  • When you open the individual statement, you find the patient’s details and individual payments
  • For each patient, you will find the date of the scan and the name and DOB of the patient,
  • You will then see three payments: amount paid to date, fees paid to date and total fees due.
  • If you press the scan icon
  • The appearance of the scan page changes, depending on how many patients you have scanned.
  • On the page, there are tokens. The tokens are in date order, the most recent are at the top
  • Each token has the name of the patient, the date of birth and the name of your practice. It shows the name of the Ophthalmologist and the hospital, click here and you will find the secure email address. You use this to send the visual fields and OCT scans to the ophthalmologist.
  • Once the scan has been sent, you can for your records, click ‘scan has been sent’.  The token then reads complete. This can be useful as a record for you.
  • The token also shows two figures. It shows how much you have been paid and how much you are due in total. The value will change each month until it has been fully paid.
  • You can now add to your profile. This can be done also at a later stage.
  • Click profile at the top of the page
  • You may choose between a cover photo or an avatar for the top banner
  • A photo or an avatar can be added by dragging and dropping into this box
  • Or you can click the box and select a photo to import
  • When you are happy with the changes, select ‘update practice’
  • The profile icon allows you to update your practice information, for example address or lead contact. When you are happy, press ‘update practice’
  • The team icon shows you the staff accounts. You can add and delete team members from this page.
  • In the left-hand side bar, there five lines of text. The five menu options are: scan a card, recent scans, add a practice, settings and support
  • The first menu item is ‘scan a card’-you can scan patients membership cards by pressing this button
  • The second menu item is recent scans. This takes you to a screen with all the recent scans that you have performed.
  • The third menu item is ‘Add a practice’, which allows you to add a practice in addition to the initial practice that you first entered at registration. If you have multiple practices, you will need to add them here.
  • You will be able to find your practice details in the main search bar, which helps to populate your entries
  • You will need to complete ‘About your practice’ with details of your visual field analyser and the type of OCT scanner which you will use for OcuPlan patients
  • You will need to enter a public email address
  • You will need to enter a secure email address, which you will use to send scans to the consultant. This secure email address will be used only for transfer of confidential information and will not be shared with patients.
  • When you have completed the page and all the forms, press ‘create my practice.’
  • This will take you back to your original practice page.
  • The fourth menu item is settings.  In settings, there are three tabs-account, profile and notifications
  • Account is where you can change your password and sign out of the app
  • Profile, is where you can change your personal details
  • Notifications is where you can choose your notifications preferences
  • The fifth menu item is support, where you will find a contact form and our other contact details.
